Teaching Interests

Burdette's teaching expertise encompass inorganic chemistry particular aspects of bioinorganic chemistry, group theory & molecular orbital theory, and synthetic inorganic chemitry. In addition, he has experience teaching organic chemistry with an emphasis on laboratory work, photochemistry and polymer chemistry.

Educational Outreach

Burdette was previously involved with UConn SECRET (School of Exploratory Chemistry Research Experience & Training), which provided a summer laboratory research experience for New England high schools students. In addition, he has developed laboratories for undergraduate courses.[1]
