Good Scholarly Resource
From Deskins Group Resources
Not all information is trustworthy/valid. Just because you read something doesn't make it true! You need to learn what makes a good source of information. Most scholarly articles (from academic journals) are primary sources, meaning that they contain original data to support their arguments and claims. Most sources of information (like websites, encyclopedias, news, etc.) take information from primary sources and summarize/interpret them. These are secondary and even tertiary sources. Unfortunately good sources of information are often harder to read. Easier sources are good places to start, but don't rely on them as absolute truth!
