Project Writing Checklist

From Deskins Group Resources

Below are several questions to answer when writing your project report. If you can answer 'yes' to the following, you are on the right track to having a good report draft.

  • Is the report organized into sections and outline?
  • Does the introduction/background provide enough background material for someone unfamiliar with the topic to understand it?
  • Did we have labels and citations for all figures/tables?
  • Is the formatting (font, margins, etc.) consistent and professional?
  • Do we have clear arguments?
  • Did we provide evidence for our arguments?
  • Did we provide references for all the data?
  • Is the report written in a formal, professional manner (no informal writing)?
  • Did each member of the group read and correct the whole report (e.g. other’s writing)?
