One of the easier manufacturing options available to students at WPI is 3D printing. There are several 3D printing options on campus: Washburn, Civil, RBE, IMGD, and ME all have low cost 3D printers for use. ME also has the dimension and Objet high-quality and multi-material 3D printer in the design lab. Each lab has a different procedure and only the Washburn and ME printers are available for general use at a cost.
