LabView (short for Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is a platform for developing systems. The software is a development environment for a visual programming language from National Instruments that allows interfacing with sensors and actuators. LabView is an industry standard. National instruments also owns many other software titles such as Multisim and Vision Builder.
